Roll a Shape

Stop on over at my blog to read about a fun Lakeshore game for geometry and shapes.

I created this freebie for it.

Castles Make Geometry Fun!

If you're looking for a hands-on math lesson for geometry, may I suggest building castles? I taught this lesson for the first time recently, and it was so much fun! You can see the pictures and read all about it over on my blog. You can also grab a free table your students can use to record their information during the lesson. Don't worry if you don't have shape patterns, because I'll point you to a free website where you can grab some!
