Partner Math Mutipliction & Division Practice

Math and cooperative learning~ what a great duo! This activity has students solve some pretty complex multi-digit multiplication and division problems and then find their match-up partner to check their answers. Partnerships are made based on the picture at the top of the page: hamburger partners with fries, pants partners with shirt, sun with moon, etc. My students love this fun way of partnering up.

Although this activity is titled for third grade, older grades will definitely benefit from this. My third graders don't get into long division (that fun stuff is saved for 4th & 5th!).

Thanks to Lisa Tarman for this freebie!
