The end is near and I've been looking for ways to keep my kids engaged after testing. Sandy, over at Fearless in 5th, has come up with some great literacy stations to keep the kids busy and still learning. She has come up with four rotations: poetry, acrostic poems, idioms, and compound words.
Head on over to Fearless in 5th to grab your freebie posters for each station!
Check out this free Olympic Themed Activities for Language Art and Math. It includes 52 pages of activities. There are 4 language arts stations and 4 math stations included. It's free only until midnight tonight. Click on the picture below to be taken to Stellar-Students in order to download this freebie.
I absolutely love polka-dots so when Graphics from the Pond added this super cute border I had to use it! The border comes in several different colors and you can use it for your teaching products or just use it in your classroom as a cute border for you class list or class schedule! I hope you enjoy!
I have been searching around for great end of the year activities, and I will be using both of these within the next week. One of them is a cute Bulletin Board idea "Flying into the end of the year!" where the kids make dragonflies. I have also already set up cute little seed packets for the kiddos as an end of the year gift (with plenty of other goodies of course!)
Check out both of these freebies here on Love to Teach :)
Today is our annual third grade science day. We have students rotate through centers outside where they make lots of messy science experiments and learn about measurement too. Click on over to my blog to grab your free recipes.
I don't know about everyone else, but I am working so diligently to stay focused on this year, but there is a tiny voice in my head that is already helping me plan for next year. I also know that our crew at 3-6 Resources is doing an AMAZING job of sharing free resources from some FANTASTIC blogs! So, I am veering off to share a resource from TeachersPayTeachers. It is a freebie..of course!! Breeze Through Math has created this fun Getting to Know You Fraction activity. How great is that? First day team builders while starting curriculum right away. I love it! As I'm sure all the students will too!
With just three days of school left, it was time for me think about how to wrap things up this year. I decided to add this cute poem to our poetry anthologies as one way of saying goodbye. Click on over to my blog to get your free copy!
